Testing for External Coolant Leaks
When you notice your car, SUV, van or truck is showing signs of external fluid leaks, bring your vehicle to our local Sioux Falls, SD auto repair shop. At 12th Street Auto Care Center, we can perform a pressure test to look for external coolant leaks.
By using a coolant pressure tester, we pump pressure into the engine cooling system to check for external leaks. The pressure will then force coolant or water out of the damaged or warn out place that is leaking. Once the problem is addressed, our ASE-certified mechanics will take care of the rest at our local Sioux Falls, South Dakota auto repair shop. We will replace hoses, clamps and any sort of spot that looks pretty rusty. If there are internal coolant leaks, a different device is used.
