Heater Core
Antifreeze, once it loses its hot temperature in the coolant reservoir, can rejoin the engine cooling system and even heat up the interior of your vehicle. Similar to a radiator, this smaller sized variation, called the heater core, conducts the heat out of the coolant, helped by a fan, and into the vehicle’s cabin, which then heats the passengers. When removed of its heat, the coolant recedes into the water pump to rejoin the engine cooling system’s circuit.
