Brake Pad Mechanics
Brake pad replacement is a snap for our service technicians. We are experienced in all types of brake pad replacement, including NAO (non-asbestos organic), semi-metalic, and ceramic. We can talk about your service issue on the phone and potentially diagnose what is wrong. We can also estimate the cost of the brake repairs or replacement as well.
How Do Brake Pads Work?
With disc brakes, the brake pad rubs on a disc (rotor) to slow the wheels. Brake pads are attached to the caliper. The caliper squeezes the pad against the rotor. A common sign of trouble is a grinding or squealing noise. Our advisors can check them out quickly, get them replaced, and get you back on the road. Safely!
Is It Time To Replace Your Brake Pads?
The first step is having one of our service techs perform an inspection. This checks the pads – and other important compenents as well. If its time for replacement, we will make several recommendations based on the make/model and your budget.
