A low oil-pressure warning while the engine is running calls for a safe stop and engine shutdown. It is different from an oil-change reminder. Oil level and oil pressure are related but are not interchangeable measurements.
Follow the manual's checking procedure, and do not assume that adding oil makes it safe to restart. Arrange assistance if the cause is uncertain. Contact 12th Street Auto Care Center with the warning details; avoid running the engine again just to show someone the light.
