A fog-lamp indicator usually reports that a lighting function is selected. Vehicles equipped with rear fog lamps can have a separate indicator from the front lamps. Check the manual to distinguish the symbols used on your dashboard.
Choose lighting appropriate to visibility and turn unnecessary fog lamps off when conditions improve. A status indicator alone is not evidence of a fault. If the switch, indicator, and exterior lamps disagree, tell 12th Street Auto Care Center which part of the operation seems wrong.
